Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to support performance monitoring and management reviews;
- Lead the annual budgeting process and contribute to periodic financial forecasting;
- Prepare cash flow statements and financial reports as required by management;
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of VAT returns;
- Conduct financial analysis to support new business opportunities and ongoing operations;
- Oversee and strengthen internal financial control procedures;
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors during statutory audits;
- Monitor debtor balances and oversee credit control procedures, reporting regularly to the Group CFO;
- Supervise and support the accounts team in managing daily cash settlements and receivables;
- Ensure compliance with group policies, accounting standards, and fiscal regulations;
- Propose and implement improvements to finance policies and internal processes;
- Mentor and support the development of the finance team in line with organisational values.
Experience
- ACCA qualification or equivalent is mandatory;
- Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role;
- Experience within the hospitality sector or multi-entity environments will be considered an advantage;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word;
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems will be considered an asset.
