Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the Risk Management team in compiling, collecting, and analysing data related to risk activities;
- Assist in the creation of risk dashboards and reports for presentation to senior management;
- Track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and monitor adherence to the Risk Appetite Statement, promptly escalating any breaches to the appropriate teams;
- Help ensure the Bank remains compliant with applicable risk-related regulations;
- Organise and prepare risk-related documentation for audits and regulatory reviews;
- Maintain and update the operational risk incidents dashboard and assist with the internal control framework and risk register;
- Contribute to the drafting and enhancement of key regulatory submissions, including the ICAAP, ILAAP, and the Recovery Plan, while supporting additional risk projects as needed;
- Participate in the review and revision of risk-related policies and procedures;
- Provide general administrative support and carry out other duties to aid the smooth functioning of the Risk Management department.
Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field is preferred;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word;
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Previous experience in a financial services environment will be considered an advantage.
